Theodore Kondylis derived his architectural inspiration from a young age by reading about the work of Costas Kondylis, one of the most prolific architects in New York City who designed over 75 buildings and some of the most iconic skyscrapers including 1049 Fifth Avenue, Trump World Tower, and Manhattan Place.  Since Costas Kondylis had his father's same name, Theodore was mesmerized and inspired to pursue his studies at the School for Fine Arts in Greece.  He later earned his Master of Arts degree in architectural design from Derby University in the United Kingdom.Theodore’s professional career began in 1996 and only a few short years later, he opened his own architectural and design office with projects in Greece, Europe and Qatar.  In 2014, he formed “Arche USA LLC” and started collaborating on numerous U.S. projects in New York, Miami, Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Asheville, a number of which were nominated for design awards.During one such collaboration, Theodore worked with Michael Pitsinos, an entrepreneur with a passion for design and a background in hospitality, F & B, and various real estate and development projects.  The design aesthetic of Theodoros Kondylis together with the business acumen of Michael Pitsinos was the perfect symbiotic relationship.  Upon realizing their shared vision, the duo formed “Kondylis NYC Design House” which has the mission of blending the best of European design with the functionality, practicality, and efficiency suitable for projects in the U.S.
